One person died in an apartment fire in Berlin-Wedding. According to the Berlin fire department, there was a fire late on Tuesday evening on the second floor of a multi-storey apartment building on Togostrasse.
During the extinguishing work, a lifeless person was recovered in the apartment, said a spokesman for the fire department. The other residents were therefore unharmed.
According to initial findings, furnishings in the bedroom were on fire. About 28 firefighters were on site and extinguished the fire. The “BZ” had previously reported. (dpa)
