A The band Foo Fighters announced, this Wednesday, that they will release a new album – the first since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022.

The album titled ‘But Here We Are’ will be available on June 2, as revealed by the band on social media.

It is the band’s 11th album and comes two years after the release of ‘Medicine at Midnight’, released in 2021. In a statement, quoted by the international press, ‘But Here We Are’ is described as “the first chapter of the new band life”.

Taylor Hawkins died at age 50, on March 25, 2022, in Bogota, Colombia, where the Foo Fighters were going to perform at a festival. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins.
