The couple has kept their fans updated on the pregnancy for months. Now they are presenting the newcomer on Instagram – and are also revealing the name.
Cologne – singer Pietro Lombardi and influencer Laura Maria Rypa have become parents. The couple posted a photo of themselves with their son on Instagram with the caption, “Welcome home Leano Romeo.” The picture shows Pietro kissing his fiancé on the head.
The two thanked for “all the nice messages in the past few weeks”. “We needed some time for ourselves, but everything is fine now.” They are happy “to be able to introduce the little ones,” they wrote in the wording on their profiles.
The couple had regularly shared pregnancy photos on Instagram since the summer and wrote about the anticipation of their first child together. On Christmas Eve, the two posted a picture of themselves in front of the decorated Christmas tree. Handprints and a heart were painted on Laura Maria’s bare baby bump, along with the text “Dad” and “Mama”. The 27-year-old also addressed pregnancy problems. At the end of October, the couple announced their engagement.
Pietro became known in 2011 as the winner of the eighth season of the RTL casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (DSDS). Since then he has had success with summery Latino hits such as “Senorita” and “Phänomenal”. dpa
