The Rebrab family 3rd richest family in the Arab world
As mentioned, the family of the wealthy man Issad Rebrab was included in the ranking of the richest families in the Arab world. Indeed, these are the revelations of the American magazine Forbes. According to the words of the same source, the fortune of the Algerian billionaire has reached 5.1 billion dollars.
The family thus occupies the 3rd rank together with the Egyptian Mansour family which also has 5.1 billion dollars. Rebrab and Mansour beat the Lebanese El Hariri family (4.7 billion dollars). Knowing that the two Lebanese brothers Najib and Taha Mikati took second place in the said ranking with nearly 5.6 billion dollars to their credit.
They who have lost 800 million dollars since March 11 according to Forbes. The title of the richest family in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region went to the Egyptian Sawiris family with a staggering fortune of 11.2 billion dollars, including 7.7 billion dollars for Naguib Sawiris. As a reminder, the latter is the president of Orascom TMT Investment.
