Dor fifteen years, Robin Niblett, 61 years old today, has been at the helm of one of the most prestigious institutions for the analysis and discussion of foreign policy, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, in London, known worldwide as the name of Chatham House. In 1927, it was within it that the “Chatham House rule” was concocted, today consecrated to the four corners of the planet as an expression and working method. In essence, it presupposes an agreement that the words exchanged between four walls can be reproduced, without however disclosing the source. A way to guarantee freedom of political discussion, as well as a certain transparency.
