The Police confirmed that the agents of the domestic violence division are investigating a complaint filed by the former popular representative, Orlando Aponte.
The authorities limited themselves to confirming the complaint and did not reveal who it was made against.
This week Aponte also made headlines when he was arrested for allegedly violating a protection order, but against him.
The events for which he was arrested would have occurred last Friday, in Dorado, when, according to the complaint, he arrived at his daughters’ school, knowing that his ex-partner was there.
“Because it is a matter of domestic violence that is under investigation, the Puerto Rico Police will not offer additional details,” read a statement sent by the authorities. Based on these facts, they decided not to file charges against him.
