There is a new one for Fortnite Hotfix for update 23.10 ready. In a current Blog entry the developers go into the changes and innovations that the update brings. For example, the is new Guardian Shieldyou in Honorbound Chests can find. The shield creates a protective barrier in front of you that blocks enemy damage. “This shield can serve as mobile cover while you and your team are on the move, or it can be thrown on the ground to provide permanent, stationary protection. The barrier doesn’t last forever, so keep an eye out for the shield’s changing colors to know when it’s nearing its end,” writes Epic Games in the patch notes.
Hotfix brings mid-season rewards
With the hotfix for the update 10/23 is also the first Fortnite mid-season reward (buy now €18.23 ) arrived. “New for this season, Mid-Season Rewards allow you to unlock alternate styles for Chapter 4 – Season 1 Battle Pass outfits,” the developers write. Beginning this week, gaining ten account levels will earn you a new style for Selene.
More rewards in the coming weeks
For the next four weeks, you can grab Maasai, Doom Slayer, Dusty, and Nezumi rewards this way. You can view the mid-season rewards in the “Mid-Season Rewards” section of the Battle Pass.
