As several users on social media have noted, the number of drivers in Forza Horizon 5 has continued to increase at a rapid pace. Eight months ago, we reported that the game reached a whopping 20 million players, which was actually faster than Forza Horizon 4 reaching the milestone of ten million gamers.
Since then, new racing fans have arrived at a rate of an average of one million users per month, meaning that Forza Horizon 5 has now passed 28 million drivers.
This figure will continue to climb significantly as Playground Games now also reveals that they will announce and show the second major expansion to the game tomorrow (February 23rd at 18:00). The first expansion was the brilliant Hot Wheels (check out our review), which however was leaked long before it was officially confirmed. This time it seems Playground Games has been much better at keeping secrets and there aren’t even any good rumors about what we can expect.
