TURN IT INTO LAW

A bill is currently pending in the North Carolina General Assembly that would make anyone found guilty of participating in such street takeovers pay a $1,000 fine and, if continued, have their car impounded.

It passed its first reading in the state House at the end of March and has since been referred to the Transportation Committee.
