This Algerian national, aged 34, hoped to obtain regularization following the birth of his child. However, all of the latter’s plans fell through following his split from his 40-year-old girlfriend last summer, before their baby was even born.

In addition, on Tuesday January 3, around 10 a.m., at the reception of the annex town hall of Cenon, the ex-companion of this Algerian had an appointment to carry out some administrative procedures. Along with her baby, barely four months old, she was followed by Mohammed.

According to a police source quoted by Le Figaro, this Algerian managed to snatch the child from his mother’s arms before putting a cord around his neck. This father would have held the baby suspended by the rope for a few seconds. And this, before certain witnesses intervene to control the undocumented.

Following the intervention of the police officers, the father in question was arrested. And the infant transferred urgently to the hospital in the region. According to the figaro, while in police custody, Mohammed expressed his desire to kill his child before ending his life. The annex town hall of Cenon was closed on Wednesday, following this incident, and should also be this Thursday.
