Each at the head of their esports team, the two emblematic streamers of the Franco-Spanish rivalry faced off this Thursday as part of the European shooting game circuit Valorant.
The great rivals of the web met for a Valorant match. Each at the head of their own esport structure, streamers Kameto and Ibai were once again able to compete. The Frenchman’s Karmine Corp and the Spaniard’s Team KOI met as part of Valorant’s European league, the VCT EMEA.

In the name of the show, but above all of the rivalry between the French and Spanish internet, the meeting was particularly awaited by the two communities. It was the first official confrontation of the two men since the beginning of their rivalry born during the Pixel Wars, on the Reddit platform.
Since this event in April 2022, Kameto and Ibai do not miss an opportunity to face each other. This was particularly the case during a football match, the Eleven All Stars, organized by videographer Amine.
The official meeting on the Valorant game allowed the two esports structure leaders to chat during short videos. The taxi to transport Kameto to the event hall was decorated by the opposing team. A message invited him to “reach the place of his defeat”, in Spanish.
An XMS player exploit
However, the Spaniards quickly lowered their hopes. The confrontation in BO3 (best of three matches) turned to the advantage of Karmine Corp, as suggested by the hashtag #KCWIN trending in France on Twitter since last night.
The French team won the match 2-1. The Karmine Corp XMS player particularly distinguished himself by performing a clutch (a reversal of the situation) by eliminating three opposing players when his teammates had already fallen. A feat all the more resounding as this feat allowed Karmine Corp to win the first round of the duel.
Earlier during Valorant’s VCT EMEA competition, the French streamer had already staged the Franco-Spanish rivalry during the match against Team Heretics. This team is led by Spanish streamer TheGrefg. The two internet figures then organized a challenge: the loser had to offer jerseys to the opposing community. The Karmine Corp had bowed.
