The mayor of Miami, Francis Suarezqualified to participate in the first debate between the candidates for the presidential nomination for the Republican party, which will take place next week in Milwaukee.
SOS America Pac, the political action committee that backs Suárez, announced that the mayor had met the polling requirements to run in the August 23 debate, reaching 1% in three national polls and 1% in several early nomination states, in addition to meeting the 40,000 unique donor threshold.
