She knows the celebrities like no other: “RTL Exclusiv” moderator Frauke Ludowig (59). For more than 30 years she has been standing in front of the camera in a top style and talking about stars and starlets.
But that was not always so!
The 59-year-old spoke to BILD about her biggest fashion sins – and revealed what she wouldn’t even wear for carnival today…
“When I was young there were really bad things! I used to sew my own trousers because I attended a sewing course in my home country, which was pretty unsuccessful for me. Looking back, the most impossible things came out of it.”

A fashion highlight of the time that the 56-year-old would prefer not to be reminded of today: neon-colored stretch mini skirts!
“Luckily I threw it all away. That was really terrible. I would never wear anything like that again! Not even for carnival,” emphasizes the presenter with a laugh to BILD.
Her daughters Nele (19) and Nika (17) are completely different! The moderator revealed to BILD that she can sometimes even learn something from her offspring.

Frauke to BILD: “My daughters are much better at it. They both have very different styles and I have to admit that sometimes I even pick something from them. Recently, one of my daughters came with extremely wide trousers, which I wore the next day!”
But there is no argument about the clothes. Nele and Nika even offer their mother the outfits voluntarily.
“My daughters have to share because whenever I’m missing something in my closet, I already know where to look. Funnily enough, my clothes regularly get feet.”
The fashion trust in her daughter Nele even goes so far that the presenter had the 19-year-old restyle her for a TikTok challenge.
