Before long, the 13th season of Hver gang vi mössets will break loose, where seven artists are on idyllic Kjerringøy to honor each other with song.

It is not unusual for friendships and good cohesion to arise between the participants during the recording period when music and personal stories are shared over the dinner table, but sometimes it leads to something more.

This time, Hver gang vi metøs has led to a musical collaboration between two of the artists, Freddy Kalas (32), whose real name is Fredrik Auke, and Kaleb Isaac Ghebreiesus (23), better known as Isah.

Both have been successful in their respective ways. Auke has become the very king of party music with country hits such as “Pinne for landet”, “Jovial” and “Feel Da Rush”, while Isah has won two Spellemann awards despite his young age, and has collaborated with well-known names such as Karpe and Dutty Dior.

– Delicious hit song

In front of TV 2, the duo reveals that they have been in the studio together after the recording of the programme, and are in the process of making a new song.

– It’s really fun that we get to do this together. I have so much to teach him, and I have also done the kind of style he does before, so it will be really fun to see how the result will be when two people meet, who have a lot of the same taste, says Auke, adding:

– Isah is a terrific songwriter and has a crazy vibrato, so I’m looking forward to it.

The artist colleagues do not want to reveal too much about the new work, but give some hints.

This is the artists’ favorite Christmas song – one of which they chose their own

– I would say that it will be a mixture of pop and RnB. Not a love song and not love-related – not that we’ve established that quite yet. It will be a slightly “soft”, delicious hit song. About life, says Auke.

– We have to finish the song first before we can declare what genre it is, points out Isah.

When the song will be released is currently unknown.

– We have to take it as it comes. I hope it will be during the coming year, says the 32-year-old.

– Friends for life

Tospannet are happy about their stay at Kjerringøy and what it has given them, and are left with valuable memories and friendships in their suitcases.

– That group are friends for life. In one way or another, we are there for each other, and that is absolutely wonderful. There is a lot of joy and good memories, and a lot that I can take with me from experience and music, says Isah.

Emma impresses with her interpretation of “The River” – this is how Bjørn reacts

– It has been great fun and a rollercoaster like no other. It’s hard to be involved, but very, very fun, says Auke.

The latter has also gained more self-insight.

– Seeing yourself open up – it gives you a new form of empathy for yourself too, so I think it will be better to get to know your inner self after this.

Watch the premiere of Every time we meet on Sunday 1 January at 8pm on TV 2 Direkte and TV 2 Play.
