Having dabbled in slightly more creepy and mysterious games with The Evil Within games and last year’s Ghostwire: Tokyo, development studio Tango Gameworks is going for something completely different.

During Wednesday’s Xbox evening broadcast, the studio unveiled Hi-Fi Rush – and just as easily released it on Xbox at the same time. The game is therefore out for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC now, 25 January.

Review of Hi-Fi Rush.

Hi-Fi Rush is an action rhythm game where you have to perform attacks and movements in time with the rhythm. Everything is synchronized to the music in the background, while you fight your way through robot-enhanced enemies.

You control the main character Chai, who most of all wishes he were a rock star, in a colorful world.

On the right, you can see the developers go through how the game works in practice, and at the very top you see a trailer.
