The Frontoluz had a cost of $1,582,480, money that was reached with the sum of donations and sales of plastic caps, cans and keys. “This time, it is being used by the surgeon Miguel Chappuis. Fundacore is a non-profit foundation, made up of parents and relatives of children born with congenital heart disease and who received assistance in Intensive Care and Cardiovascular Surgery at the Hospital de Niños de La Plata.

Congenital heart disease is a disease located in the heart that occurs in the fetal stage, while the baby is in formation. It is estimated that 8 out of every thousand children are born with this problem, in some cases it can be diagnosed in the fetus and be intervened immediately.
