Gladbecker crashes into traffic lights in Gelsenkirchen – car rolls over
According to the police, the traffic accident happened on Sunday, April 30, in the Beckhausen district of Gelsenkirchen. A 23-year-old from Gladbeck at around 2.45 a.m. together with her 22-year-old passenger on the Kärntener Ring in the direction of Gladbeck.
Shortly after the hill road, she came off the road for reasons that are still unclear, crashed into a pedestrian traffic light on the central island and overturned her vehicle. The car stayed on its roof.

The 23-year-old driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The car was no longer drivable and was towed away. The police put the total damage at a “five-digit sum”. According to the police department, “there is no evidence to date that alcohol abuse led to the accident.” The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
