Gendarmes from the 11th San Ignacio Squadron, through motorized patrols, were touring the vicinity of the Paraná River, in the town of Jardín América when they detected six packages with 193 kilos of marijuana hidden in a trail.

In Colonia Delicia, members of Squadron 10 Eldorado were patrolling dirt roads, when they observed a blockade near the border. They immediately continued towards the coast, finding 11 packages with 168 kilos of “Cannabis Sativa”.
In a third operation, gendarmes also from Squadron 10 Eldorado after pedestrian patrols in Puerto Esperanza, were alerted by movements on the river coast. Upon arrival, the uniformed officers found 50 kilos of marijuana wrapped in plastic.
