On Sunday afternoon, in the area of general rodriguez, the body of a woman between the ages of 25 and 35 was found with signs of having been beaten and hanged a few hours before. The victim, who still could not be identified, was in a bikini and without any type of documents. The discovery was made by a cartonero who was circulating in the area, a wasteland that adjoins a junkyard and the Gaona collector.

“Because of the place where the body was found, and taking into account that she was in a bikini, we believe that she could have been at one of the parties that are usually held in the villas of that town. We do not have any element to be able to recognize it, since in the immediate vicinity there were no documents or portfolio or anything like that,” an investigator assured infobae.

This Sunday night, justice officials were reviewing the cameras of the junkyard adjacent to the property where the body was found to try to identify a car that has approached the place or something of the sort. At the moment, that search yielded no results.

This last week General Rodríguez was the scene of another crime. A 53-year-old night watchman was shot to death on January 6 when he arrived at the aerosol factory where he worked.

The event occurred around 10 p.m. last night at the door of Prospay, a company dedicated to the production and packaging of aerosols located on Río Pico street, between Río Primero and General Las Heras, in the town of Las Malvinas, in said district of the western part of the suburbs.

Judicial sources informed Telam Agency that it all started when the victim, identified as Elvio Burgos, arrived at his workplace aboard a van. At that moment, her son heard at least four gunshots from her house, located a block and a half from the factory. The 29-year-old man approached the place and found his father seriously injured, for which he was transferred in the same truck to the Vicente López y Planes hospital, just over 30 blocks away.

According to sources, the night watchman died a few minutes after entering the health center, as a result of the injuries suffered. Meanwhile, police personnel were alerted and under the supervision of prosecutor Alejandra Rodríguez began the investigation to clarify what happened.
