The live stream dedicated to the reveal of version 3.4 of Genshin Impact has just ended, the next free update that will add new characters and unpublished content that will keep players busy for the next few weeks.
The first novelty consists in the introduction of two characters already known to fans of the free to play branded Hoyoverse. One of the new entries is the small one YaoYao, a native Liyue girl linked to the Dendro element and able to face her opponents with the help of a spear. The second hero introduced in version 3.4 is Alhaitham, the mighty swordsman from Sumeru, also belonging to the Dendro element and protagonist of the new chapter of the Archon Quest, always arriving with the next update. Still on the subject of characters, the first timed banner will offer two 5-star characters, that is Alhaitham And Xiao, which will be joined by a trio of 4 Star heroes among which we will find the newcomer YaoYao. In the second phase of the update we will instead see two reruns, since they will be available again Hu Tao (5 Stars, Pyro) e Yelan (5 Stars, Cryo).
Moving on to the new content, version 3.4 will introduce another portion of Sumeru called Desert of Hadramaverth, whose dimensions are comparable to those of the map introduced with update 3.1. Within the new area you will be able to face the boss Setekh Wenuta kind of desert snake that will probably drop the upgrade materials of the next heroes.
There will also be new events such as the Lantern Festivalor Chinese New Year. During these holidays, it will be possible to complete timed activities that will reward the player with many Primogems and materials for upgrading weapons and characters. In addition, the event will allow for get a free hero of your choice among the 4 Stars from Liyue and, among these, we will also find YaoYao.

As if that weren’t enough, the update also marks the arrival of new skins for Ayaka and Lisa, which add to the list of aesthetically customizable characters. As usual, Lisa’s skin will be free with the event and Ayaka’s skin will be available for purchase in the shop.
