CDMX.- Former soccer player Gerard Piqué once again took as a reference the various hints that Shakira launched in the song “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53”, now while driving a Twingo car.
This Sunday the moment in which Gerard Piqué arrived on matchday 3 of his live broadcasts for Kings League in a white Twingo went viral.
The fact was shared through a clip on the official Kings League account where the moment was shown when the ex-partner of the Colombian singer arrived in the car and left it smiling.
Piqué’s action arises as a result of a verse from Shakira’s recent song with Bizarrap, where the Colombian tells him “You changed a Ferrari for a Twingo”, hinting at the new relationship that the former soccer player has with the young Clara Chía.
Before the verses of the “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol.53”, Gerard Piqué has responded to the references, in the form of mockery.
A recent example of this was the showing in a streaming broadcast that uses a Casio brand watch, even announcing it as a new sponsor, without confirming whether it was real or not. This action was equivalent to the verse “You traded a Rolex for a Casio”, from the Bizarrap session.
Renault responds to Shakira
In addition to Piqué’s actions, the Renault brand, which distributes the Twingo model in Spain, published a post on Twitter in response to the singer.
In it, another reference is made to the song by Bizarrap and Shakira, where the verses “And a she-wolf like me is not for guys like you” and “I’m worth two out of 22” are heard.
The brand published an image of the aforementioned car in red and decorated with a number 22 on the side, with the description “For guys and girls like you. Turn up the volume!”, responding to the controversial song.
On the other hand, photos of a supposed new advertising campaign by Renault are circulating on social networks, where more references are made to the recent subject of Shakira.
