May 4th is just around the corner. Of course, Star Wars fans know that this is a very special day. Pronounced in English, it finally means “May, the fourth” and that in turn is reminiscent of “May the force be with you” – or in German: “May the power be with you.” May 4th is now known for new announcements. These can be trailers, for example for a new film or a new season, but also the announcement of a previously completely unknown project. Science fiction fans all over the world are probably already keeping their eyes on their guns, YouTube and social networks. Merchandising can also be dusted off for “Star Wars Day” at a special price. Although we are only writing May 3rd, we have actually already discovered one or the other offer on Amazon. From “Lego Star Wars”, for example, the helmets of Commander Cody and Captain Rex from Clone Wars are up to 33 percent cheaper. Hasbro, on the other hand, sells a 9.5 cm action figure from The Mandalorian at a bargain price – as does Grogu, also incorrectly called Baby Yoda. However, Crocs grants the largest discount on Mandalorian shoes in children’s size – up to 67 percent.
Lego Star Wars on offer: Buy up to 33 percent cheaper from May 4th
Even before the official “Star Wars Day” on May 4th, Amazon launched a small campaign. Four sets of “Lego Star Wars” are on offer. These are the helmets of Commander Cody, Captain Rex and Darth Vader, as well as a Jedi training diorama intended to depict the Dagobah scenes from Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back. Lego also advertises the helmets as a collector’s item for adults and they actually give the impression that they also look good in the showcase. The Captain Rex, known from The Clone Wars, with its 854 parts, costs only 51.55 euros after a 26 percent discount. His brother in arms, Captain Rex, is even 33 percent lower than the RRP, which means you can buy the 766-piece set for just 46.99 euros. Darth Vader, the renegade Anakin Sykwalker, is available for 53.99 euros after a 23 percent discount. If you prefer to buy a diorama, there is also a cheaper one: The “Star Wars Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama Set for Adults, with Yoda, R2-D2 and Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing” is available from Amazon for only 61.69 euros or with it 31% discount out. Not on the promotions page listed is the No. 1 bestseller in the area of action figures for children: Obi-Wan-Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter is changing hands with a 29% discount for only 24.99 euros.

The manufacturer writes about the product: “Like the original Star Wars collectibles from the 1970s, the Vintage Collection is characterized by Kenner branding and packaging design.” You can also buy the Mandalorian’s helmet from the “Black Series” for only 124.99 euros. The manufacturer price was reduced by 22 percent. This is a full-scale helmet with “a detailed series-inspired design, internal padding and an adjustable fit.” Again from “The Vintage Collection” comes the Speeder Bike from Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. You can buy this Hasbro model for only 46.49 euros after a 15 percent discount. It’s not long since The Mandalorian Season 3 finale – and it’s likely that interest is the reason you’re paying the bargain price for a Grogu figure. Amazon grants a high 50 discount, which means that “Baby Yoda” only costs 26.49 euros. Even if it doesn’t come from Hasbro, we don’t want to withhold another offer from you: Crocs, the cult shoes from Ideocracy, are available in children’s sizes and in Star Wars guise for up to 67 percent less.
