Google is working hard to improve the sound experience in its phones with new technology that will be applied to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 phones in its next update.
They have worked on the phones and accessories such as Pixel buds pro to be able to provide spatial sound where the user can enjoy music or the video they are watching even more. According to their detailed description of what is to come the update will contain, so there is most focus on the update on the sound, which will affect all devices that have support for Android 13.
Spatial sound gives a similar effect of a surround sound in a movie theater where the sound is perceived as coming from more places and it is already present in, among other things, airpo pro. Google had planned to release the update in September 2022, but they delayed the launch until January 2023.
