It can be tested again. Google has released the Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2 for supported Pixel smartphones (Pixel 4a, 5, 5a, 6, 6 pro, 6a, 7 and 7 Pro). Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2 (T2B2.221216.006) includes the latest January security patch, bug fixes, and performance and stability optimizations. The security patch from January is particularly welcome, as there were some serious security gaps in the kernel.

The following issues have been fixed in Android 13 QPR2 Beta 2:

Fixed a system UI issue that sometimes caused the home screen to become unresponsive.

Fixed an issue where after switching back from slow motion mode to normal video capture mode in the Google Camera app, slow motion videos would continue to be captured if the capture speed was changed between 1/8x and 1/4x in slow motion mode.

Users can get started with QPR2 Beta 2 today by Register your Pixel device. Eligible devices are the Pixel 4a, 5, 5a, 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7 and 7 Pro series. After registration, participating devices will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest beta versions. If users have already signed up for the Android 13 beta (and have not opted out), they will automatically receive QPR2 Beta 2 and all future beta updates.
