For potentially six weeks, the participants on Farmen kendis will live under 1923 conditions. The participants have to comply with strict rules, and take a complete turn from the life they are used to.

This means that they have to put away all modern technology – even the clock. That is not always easy to deal with.

Christopher Mørch Husby (33) then found some secret loopholes, which ended up being exposed.

Broke the rules

The 33-year-old was desperate to know the time and describes it as “absolute madness” not to know this.

– It’s exciting to be on the farm, but it’s not so rather exciting. There is a limit to how much fun it is to build or plant the 4,000th cabbage plant, says Husby to TV 2.

– We had to come up with other things and be a little bit like children. Then figuring out the time: It was fun.

Therefore, he found loopholes wherever possible. He can reveal that, among other things, he looked at time codes on cameras, through some clever tricks.

– For example: If a photographer came, we asked to look at the picture, and then they looked at the clock. Other times we looked into the bag of the sound man. It was great fun, he says and explains further:

– Things you are not allowed to do are fun.

At other times, crew members could forget to take off their watches, or have their mobiles visible. Husby had fun with this – while it lasted.

Had to take action

One day the fun ended, when changes had suddenly taken place. The clock at the various locations had to be covered.

– They only came to the recording one day and everything was taped over. So we lost 100 percent the opportunity to know the time, says Husby.

He was told in a humorous way that he was the reason for this move. He then points out that it was a very good tone throughout and that he had fun with the production. The move was nevertheless a disappointment.

– I felt that I was getting a little desperate. It was sort of my thing, so it was really boring, says Husby.

As a substitute for the fun with the clock, he and the gang started walking in the woods.

– We had to do something, so we sneaked away from the security guard a few times. The children traveled a bit on their own, so we felt a bit crazy there, he laughs.

Watch the finale of The farm celebritys Sunday on TV 2 Direkte and TV 2 Play.
