Govee introduced the new AI Gaming Sync Box Kit at CES 2023.

This “next generation light entertainment experience” relies on AI support and uses the in-house technology CogniGlow.

According to Govee, this is the first HDMI solution with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, which enables real-time synchronization of content.

The CogniGlow algorithm mentioned is combined with AI SoC chips. The algorithm is designed to learn from more than 100,000 characteristics of the image, color and other information, and then provide more than 30 customized lighting effects.

According to Govee, no data is transferred to the cloud. Everything runs locally and in real time.

The AI ​​Gaming Sync Box Kit supports resolutions up to 4K and 1080p at 240 Hz. At 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz is achieved. Also Smart Control, HDR; Dolby Vision and CEC are supported.

The device is equipped with three HDMI inputs and one output. The price is 299.99 euros and the AI ​​Gaming Sync Box Kit is scheduled to be released in March 2023.

In addition, Govee announces a collaboration with the smart home standard Matter to provide a better, more flexible connection.

The first product to support Matter will be the M1 (2m) LED light strip, which is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2023.
