It just sounds unbelievable: Shortly before Christmas, unknown persons sawed off a fir tree on a grave at the Herner Südfriedhof.

This is reported by WAZ reader Peter Schilling. The fir was planted by the grandson of the deceased ten years ago. “And now this sawing incident,” says Schilling. It’s not the first theft. Christmas roses have already been stolen from this grave three times – “always at Christmas time”.
