On date 9 of Costa Rica – Closing Tournament 2023, Guadalupe FC and P. Zeledón ended even at the Colleya Fonseca stadium.
The locals began winning with a goal from Jostin Daly in the 19th minute of the first half, while through José Ureña the visitor equalized the match 22 minutes later.
Eight minutes into the first half, forward Ryan Cane had a chance to open the scoring, but his shot bounced off the post.
The best man of the match was Jostin Daly. The Guadalupe FC attacker scored 1 goal and shot at the opposite goal 6 times.

For its part, Luis Marín’s team took to the field with a 4-4-2 scheme with Jussef Delgado under the three sticks; Junior Delgado, José Ureña, Lucas Meza and Ismael Morales in defense; Axel Amador, Marcos Giménez, Anthony Mata and Joshua Parra in midfield; and Cristian Zúñiga and Ryan Cane up front.
Adrián Chinchilla Chávez was the referee who led the match at the Colleya Fonseca stadium.
Guadalupe FC’s next match in the championship will be at home against Santos, while P. Zeledón will host Herediano.
With this result, the host of the match reaches 8 points and is in tenth place. For its part, the visiting team remains at 11 units and is in seventh place in the tournament.
