The movie pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro was awarded this Sunday with the bafta award 2023 for Best Animated Film.
It is the first BAFTA that the Mexican filmmaker obtains.
pinocchio contended in the category of Best Animated Film of the awards BAFTA next to Marcel the Shell With Shoes on, Puss in Boots 2 and Red.
The film by the Jalisco filmmaker, released in 2022 through the Netflix streaming platform, has also been awarded at the Golden Globes (best animated film) and the Critics Choice Awards.
the film of Guillermo del Toro it had also been nominated in the category of Best Original Score, but lost it to the German film directed by Edward Berger, All Quiet on the Western Frontwhich also stood out at the awards ceremony in London when it was crowned Best Film.
