The owners of a taco stand in the Florence area were the victims of an armed robbery Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at the corner of Manchester and Towne avenues, around 10:20 pm, according to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

According to information from witnesses, the two suspects arrived armed and with their faces covered with ski masks, demanding money. They managed to get about $50.

“Two armed boys came, they were hooded,” said Oscar Lozano, owner of the taco stand. “The situation happened very quickly. One came to my partner and tried to take her things away.

This is the second robbery at the taco stand, called “Tacos Oscarin”.

Police suspect these are the same individuals who have been carrying out a series of robberies of stands and taco trucks in the area for the past few years.
