It’s not uncommon for developers to hide some Easter Eggs related to other franchises in their games. Sometimes these are quite easy to find, but sometimes it takes real eagle eyes to uncover the secrets of the developers. Luckily, Reddit user JarlofRivia seems to have such a pair of eyes, as the player recently made what many people believe to be a rather subtle Harry Potter Easter egg.

Is Nova from Call of Duty a secret Harry Potter fan?

how the player figured out, Operator Nova from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 wears a tattoo that looks suspiciously similar to the Deathly Hallows from Harry Potter. The inspiration for Nova was the model Abena, which in real life is actually a Tattoo of the Deathly Hallows owns. Some users therefore assume that Activision Blizzard’s scan simply also included the tattoo. However, the developers may have liked the body art so much that they later gave Nova a tattoo as well.

Understandably, however, there is no official confirmation or anything similar. The tattoo itself may have been found since publication, but it took quite a long time before a user spotted it. Coincidentally, this Harry Potter Easter egg is making the rounds just weeks before the release of the Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy.

When it comes to Call of Duty, fans can look forward to some changes in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 with the upcoming season. Among other things, there will probably be a big loot adjustment, which can hopefully improve the fun of the game a lot. We’ll explain what’s happening in Season 2 in a separate article.
