In Prince Harry’s new autobiography ‘Spare’, the prince reveals his final words to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince Harry arrived at Balmoral Castle hours after the Queen’s passing last September. She died at the age of 96.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been in Germany promoting the Invictus Games when he heard the Queen’s health had failed and rushed to Scotland to be by her side.

He writes that he said in a whisper that he “hoped she would be happy” and that she gets to be with his grandfather, Prince Philip, who died a year before at the age of 99. Page Six writes.

The Duke of Sussex also writes that he told her he admired her for fulfilling her duties to the very end, citing her presence at the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations that summer.

Furthermore, the Duke of Sussex writes that he left his late grandmother’s room at Balmoral in Scotland and called Markle to tell her he had arrived safely.
