The woman recounted the occasion when a co-worker tried to keep her vacation under the pretext that she was looking to spend “quality time with her children” and she refused to give in.
“I used to work at this location and had moved across state to work at this location. And I was working with a woman, let’s call her Karen, who had two children. And I also want to mention that, until this incident, she and I had gotten along perfectly well. Despite the fact that she requested the dates, first than her partner, her boss asked her to be empathetic with her colleague who she identified as ‘Karen’ who “wanted to spend time with her children”, and did not notice that the woman made the request only 48 hours before she went on vacation.
