Almost four hours of super excitement. On Friday, shortly before midnight, it was certain: BB RADIO presenter Maiki made the biggest profit of the evening from Günther Jauch and his third “3 million euro week” – a whopping 110,000 EUR!
Morning show presenter Maiki was Tuesday’s finalist with EUR 32,000 in the final round. Now it was about the big chunk of money. He accepted Jauch’s “immoral offer” and started all over again as the first candidate of the evening with a “guaranteed sum” of EUR 10,000.
The question and answer game between TV sophistication and witty radio word acrobats – a nerve-wracking, entertaining course. Up to the EUR 10,000 question, people walked through it easily. The 33-year-old then had to clarify what was behind a “stain bonus” (dirt allowance) by using two jokers. For EUR 20,000 and the question “A matriculation number is primarily used to identify …?” he immediately logged in “students”, after all the likeable Potsdamer is really experienced with his 26 semester business administration degree. In response to Jauch’s mocking remark, “You will never complete your studies,” he made a promise in front of an audience of millions: “Even with money, my mother won’t be softened that I can give up my studies. I have to bang my studies , zack close – promised mom!” It got really tough at 100,000 EUR. “Who should be responsible for an event that according to legend happened on June 26, 1284?” The last two jokers were due, and minutes of power stress ensued as audience jokers and phone jokers settled on different answers. His fiancée Laurin, who was sitting in the studio, finally gave him her blessing: he was allowed to use his “gambler gene”, and Maiki typed in the correct answer A: “pied piper from Hamelin”. 110,000 EUR were secured!
“110,000 EUR, I can’t even realize this amount yet” was his comment at the end. The planned wedding in September can be a bit more opulent and the “rest” is great starting capital for starting a family, perhaps with a small house in the countryside. “What a trip it was! I went to a boot camp especially for that, tested my reaction speed in the Formula 1 car, went to the hypnotist, worked with a facial expression and speech resonance trainer to decode Günther Jauch’s poker face… I succeeded: I am a Günther Jauch winner!” the Potsdamer cheered.
BB RADIO morning show boss Marcus Kaiser has therefore immediately put a new quiz on the agenda: From Monday (09.01.2023) it’s daily at 8:45 a.m. on the BB RADIO morning show the “RIGHT WRONG” give. The listeners are presented with three statements by Maiki and each have five seconds to judge whether they are “right or wrong”.
