MEXICO CITY (apro)- “To comply with the chilangos, he should have resigned sooner,” declared the president of the National Action Party (PAN) in Mexico City, Andrés Atayde, about the announcement made by the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, about her upcoming separation from office.
At Acción Nacional we celebrate that Claudia Sheinbaum has decided to leave her post. Months ago we had already proposed her resignation, especially given the distractions she had from her due to her political aspirations, ”she communicated.
The leader of the capital’s PAN celebrated the announcement of the Morenista about her final separation from office on June 16 to pursue Morena’s candidacy: “The departure of Claudia Sheinbaum from the City Government is, without a doubt, the best news that can receive the chilangos, after the constant absences, omissions and pending that the current president leaves”.
According to Atayde, the management of the former head of the Tlalpan delegation ends with a negative balance, because: “there was a tragedy on Metro Line 12 due to lack of maintenance; femicides continue to increase in the city; the use of ivermectin as if we were an experiment; the lack of water deepens every day; and, the economy of the capital is one of the least growing in the entire country”.
In a statement, the former local deputy considered it essential that his next successor or successor commit to leading CDMX full-time. He considered that Sheinbaum has been absent and has only demonstrated the political use of public resources for electoral purposes outside the electoral law.
“His constant absence caused the big problems in Mexico City to get bigger. To comply with the chilangos, he should have resigned earlier, ”he said.
In addition, the PAN leader demanded a head or head of government to stay in Sheinbaum’s place, get to work and resolve, as soon as possible, the pending issues that she “could not or did not want to resolve”, including security matters. , mobility and employment.
Before the definitive separation of Sheinbaum, the head of the Secretary of Government, must assume as the office manager. In this case, he corresponds to Martí Batres, also a member of Morena.
As established in article 32 of the Constitution of the CDMX: “In case of absolute absence of the Head of Government, as long as Congress appoints whoever replaces him, the Secretary of Government will provisionally assume ownership of the Power Executive. Whoever temporarily occupies the Head of Government may not remove or designate the members of the cabinet without prior authorization from Congress. Within the fifteen days following the conclusion of the assignment, he must deliver a work report to Congress.
