An Argentine firm, located in the Almirante Brown district, Buenos Aires province, created a solar energy park thanks to an investment of around 320 million pesos to achieve self-supply of electrical energy in your plant.

The origin of the Barbieri company
Arduín Darío Barbieri founded his company 69 years ago. At that time it was just a family workshop in Ramos Mejía, although his philosophy never changed: “Take care of the quality of the products and the relations with their clients”. “People come first,” Barbieri used to say, knowing that the well-being of his employees was also essential.
Barbieri began its activity in a patio in Ramos Mejía. Now it has 42,000 square meters and 250 employees.
In 1953, the ironworks workshop of Darío Barbieri was born, a humble 25-year-old young man, built on a borrowed patio, at the back of a house in Ramos Mejía. In 1959, the workshop moved to Lanús, where Darío lived his whole life, together with his family and where the company gradually acquired lots close to the house and continued to grow for the next 49 years.
In 1993, the firm began to provide an innovative and differentiated service. Drywall profiles begin to be formed at the Máximo Paz plant, after the purchase of the first steel profile forming machine. 2 years later, Steel Frame profiles begin to be formed.
The growth was such that in 2004, the company already exported 60% of production to more than 20 countries of America, Europe and Africa. 18 years later, it would become the largest energy supply car in Argentina.
