Yesterday afternoon, after a search, Gastón Ezequiel G. (24) was arrested on suspicion of stealing cables from the premises of the Oberá Electric Cooperative (Celo) that he had to guard as part of a private security company. The incident was denounced by the head of the energy sector after verifying missing cables and delivered film images to the Regional Police Unit II.

Once informed of what happened, the investigations pointed out that the man who worked as private security in said space would not be unrelated, and according to the investigations, he used a Volkswagen vehicle as a means of mobility to transfer the elements.

With the order of the intervening judge, they raided the home of the person involved and seized 30 insulating pieces of black cable of different sizes and five insulating pieces of brown and purple cable, which would coincide with what was stolen.

The detainee was taken to the police unit where he will remain at the disposal of Justice. Meanwhile, the kidnapped was made available to the Second Section until he rejoins the cooperative entity.
