The interpreter shared a video on her Instagram account this Wednesday afternoon in which she showed off her outfit for the evening and it is that like many other gala attendees, Time named Hayek as one of its 100 most influential people of 2023.
The artist’s longtime friend, Penelope Cruz, sat down for an interview with the media outlet, during which she discussed one of their first encounters.
“I knew almost no one in the United States, but she picked me up at the airport and took me to her house. Meeting her was like meeting a sister you hadn’t seen for a long time,” she recalled.

Actress Penélope Cruz, who co-starred with Hayek in the 2006 film Bandidas, also praised her longtime friend for her acting chops.

Later, Cruz declared that the Eternals actress had served as an inspiration for her own career: “Her big heart, big intelligence and charisma are a winning combination, but what makes me most proud is that she is always completely herself,” he said.
