Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams dated for three years before splitting in 2007 — just five months before Ledger’s tragic death. On January 22, 2008, the “Joker” actor died from a toxic mix of various painkillers and tranquilizers. Ledger was 28 at the time and his daughter Matilda was just two years old.

“Everything she does – even her movements – reminds me of Heath. For the first five years after Heath’s death, I burst into tears every time I saw Matilda,” said Ledger’s sister, Kate.

Matilda Ledger grew up without her father, but her family made sure he was a part of her life anyway. And not only sees them Confusingly similar to Heath Ledger, she also shares a passion with him. One he would be particularly proud of.
