EMOTIONAL Last night, Gary Lucy broke his silence over his split from pregnant Laura Anderson, saying: “I will never stop loving her.”

Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday, Gary added: “It’s been really tough and I’m devastated it’s ended romantically.
“I think the world of her.”
The former Footballers’ Wives actor met Laura, 33, on E4’s Celebs Go Dating show in October last year and said he fell in love as soon as he saw her. at sight.
Divorced Gary – who has two sons and two daughters with his ex-wife, Natasha – and Scot Laura met and she became pregnant within months.
The Love Island star revealed last week that she was waiting, before news of their separation emerged – posting a loving montage of videos from their first Christmas with her 12-week-old baby scan.
Gary, who is best known to millions as PC Will Fletcher on long-running ITV crime drama The Bill, says the pregnancy was not planned but added that he was “excited and happy” at the idea of becoming a father again.
Yet Laura dumped him a fortnight ago following a series of arguments and his refusal to move to his native Scotland.
Gary, who was born and lives in Essex, said: “Laura wanted me to move but I have my responsibilities here.
“I have four children and all that goes with it, so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot myself at the moment.
“After getting divorced, my children need me and living so far away from them just wouldn’t be possible.
“I wish I could break in two. I would if I could.”
The star, who admits she was won over by Laura “from the first minute I saw her”, added: “I know Laura was over the moon (about the baby).
“However, things are not as I would have liked them to be.
“I’m a romantic, so I want things to be perfect.
“I still want that fairy tale, but as you get older you have to realize it doesn’t always work out.
“I’m really disgusted. I haven’t stopped loving her and I won’t stop loving her.
Despite their shared pain, Gary supported Laura throughout her pregnancy.
He went to Glasgow last weekend, he says, to see the first scan of his unborn child who he already calls ‘Baby Bear’.
In a last ditch attempt to salvage the relationship, Gary says, he bought Laura some Valentine’s Day gifts, including a bracelet engraved with the words “Baby Bear, Mama Bear and Papa Bear” before taking his ex out to dinner.
He said: “I was on the scan, which was amazing, and we went to have a nice bite to eat.
“I gave her a gift from the baby, flowers saying, ‘I can’t wait to meet you, mum’.”
The couple’s split follows weeks of rumors that the relationship could be on the rocks.

Last month, eagle-eyed followers noticed that Gary and Laura had apparently unfollowed each other on social media.
Laura was quick to deny their relationship was in trouble and said she taught Gary “how to block a troll” when it happened.
Tearful Gary, meanwhile, says he still hopes to win Laura back.
He says he wants to send her a message to tell her that he “loves her more than ever and will never stop loving her”.
Gary also admits he is keen for the couple to be able to put aside their distance differences ahead of the birth of their child in August.
Former Dancing on Ice contestant Gary also admitted he struggled to meet women after his 2018 divorce from Natasha.
He said, “I had an awful dating experience again, it’s a whole new world now and when you’re busy, where do you meet people?

The star, who previously dated fellow EastEnder Michelle Ryan, 38, and Liberty X star Michelle Heaton, 43, claimed he was a “woman runner”.
He said: ‘I’ve only had three or four proper relationships in my life, one of which was obviously the mother of my children.
“Yeah, I slept a lot when I was younger, but I don’t have a lot of dating experience.
“It was either nightclub hookups or long-term relationships.”
Former hairstylist and flight attendant Laura, meanwhile, appeared on Love Island in 2018.
She initially teamed up with Wes Nelson, 25, until he had eyes for Essex model Megan Barton Hanson, 24, when she entered the show.
Since leaving the villa, Laura has kept herself in the spotlight, racking up over 1.5 million social media followers.
“The baby is our number one priority. I would love a soccer team made up of kids and I’m almost there.
“I can’t wait to meet the new bundle of joy.”
She previously dated singer Dane Bowers, 43, but they split for good last August.
They got back together in 2021, three years after she first dumped him for cheating.
At the time, she revealed how she was able to trust her boyfriend again and how they were trying to have a baby.
Last year she said: “Relationships only really work when you both love each other equally, which is actually quite hard to come by and often depends on timing.”
Gary – who had two stints on Hollyoaks as footballer Luke Morgan and played Danny Pennant on EastEnders – is desperate to get back with her.
He said: “Looking for love elsewhere is not on the radar.”
He added: “We can’t make things work right now, but who knows what the future holds?
“I think the world of her.
“She is carrying my child and I love her even more than before because of who she is and what she does.
“It’s incredible. She does a terrific job.
“I wish things had gone well.
“But we are doing our best to do it right and be responsible and loving co-parents in the future.
