The hunky gardener friend of TELLY presenter Alison Hammond has turned over a new leaf after serving time for drug offences.
Ben Hawkins has been imprisoned several times for driving under the influence of cocaine and trafficking cannabis.

Sources insisted that Hawkins, also sent to prison for attacking a taxi driver, was “a changed man”.
One said: ‘Ben was full of bravado and quite brash. He’s in a much happier place now.
It comes after The Sun spoke yesterday about the This Morning host Alison’s close friendship with Ben.
Alison, 48, who is co-hosting tomorrow night’s Baftas, says she is “open to getting married” but has not named her lover.
This Morning co-host Dermot O’Leary, 49, was first to reveal Alison’s romance in June last year, leaking that she was a “taken” woman.
Giggling Alison joked: “Can you believe Dermot revealed to me on TV?”
Speaking about her boyfriend, she said, “He loves me to pieces. He absolutely adores me and massages my feet every day.
In November, she told a podcast it was “kinda” love at first sight for her, adding, “I don’t think it was love at first sight in their forehead.”
Alison’s pals yesterday claimed she was single.
His spokesperson did not comment.
We approached Ben, whose last offense was in 2015, for a comment.
Alison, meanwhile, has been signed by Sky for a new quiz show, In Demand.
