“Whatever I can do, the strength within me drives me forward”

Warsaw – For a few minutes took a little Girl hundreds fear.

On the day of the Russian attack on the Ukraine was looking for Amelia Anisovych (8) with her family in a bunker under Kiev protection. To distract the worried crowd, the child sang “Let It Go,” the theme song to the Disney film Frozen (2013), to the fullest.

Someone filmed the scene, and the video touched millions of people around the world.

Russia is the devil

A year later visited BILD Amelia in Warsaw (Poland), where she lives with her mother in a one-room apartment (40 sqm). Her father is still in the Ukraine, they visited him at Christmas. What has changed in a year?

“I was seven then, now I’m eight,” says Amelia, smiling. What do you want to say to Putin? “I’d like to spank him. Because Russia is the devil and Ukraine is good. The truth is with the good guys.”

At the reunion with PICTURE she also talks about her greatest heart’s desire: “All I want is to be able to go home again.”
