CDMX.- The sixth song from Karol G’s new album is a collaboration with Shakira in which both empower themselves in the face of the media separations of their ex-partners.

“TQG” (Te Quede Grande) far from being a song about the nostalgia of a separation, focuses on the profits that both artists obtained by ending relationships that were not fruitful for them.

“You left saying that you surpassed me and you got a new girlfriend, what she does not know is that you are still seeing all the stories of me”, is one of the stanzas of the song released this Thursday night.

The separation between Karol G and Anuel AA and that of Shakira with Gerard Piqué, have given material to both artists to express the feelings of the break through music, each one has done it in their own space, now they come together in a Slow reggaeton that has already accumulated 10 million views on YouTube after 11 hours of its release and is the #1 trend on the video platform.

The verses of “TQG” that have caused a stir the most are those that suggest that the interpreters have been sought by their ex, encouraging memes on social networks.

“What are you doing looking for me, if you know that I don’t repeat mistakes, tell your new baby that I don’t compete for men.”

Karol G released his fourth album Mañana Será Bonito in which he has declared his experiences ending with Anuel AA empty, and the most important thing is that he does not do it alone, because in addition to working with his compatriot Shakira, he collaborates with Romeo Santos, Quevedo, Carla Morrison and more artists to endow her fourth premiere with musical variety.

Although Karol G has become one of the greatest exponents of reggaeton worldwide, the one born in Medellín is not afraid to bet on other genres such as pop, ranchera and African rhythms.
