Hervé begins his return. After a year 2022 far from the spotlight, the singer unveils this Friday a new single and the accompanying clip, Where I come fromin which he sings of his Breton roots.
The interpreter of the tube So right from wrongrevealed in 2020 with his first album Hyper, invites a bagad – traditional Breton musical troupe – for the introduction of this new title. He pays tribute to his family, especially his grandparents.
“Every time there is a jolt, as it happens to a lot of families, we say ‘Grandpa always said, grandma always said…’, Hervé tells BFMTV. “It’s not that far. They died when I was young, but the legacy…”.
“As I went back and saw a lot (my family) for a year, I thought it would be cool to tell all that,” he adds.
His critically acclaimed debut album earned him the Male Revelation award at the Victoires de la Musique 2021. After a tour last year, he is about to unveil a second opus entitled interior lifeexpected for March 24. Where I come from is the first excerpt.
