“Hey Stop!”, “She didn’t do anything wrong!”. In the middle of a concert in Philadelphia, singer Taylor Swift arrested a security guard. When she had just started Bad Bloodtaken from the 1989 album, the singer approached the edge of the stage, while continuing to sing.

“He was yelling at people”

On TikTok, a fan who witnessed the incident recounts behind the scenes. According to her, the security guard was very aggressive with everyone. “I noticed him as soon as I arrived, he was shouting at people,” says the young woman.

“There was a metal barricade, and it fell down, and obviously it kind of smeared on the floor. Anytime someone, or your foot, touched the edge of the metal on the floor, they screamed at it,” she said.

That’s when Taylor Swift stepped in to defend one of the fans who was being scolded.

The singer is in the midst of a world tour, which kicked off in March. The sale of tickets for his American concerts in November 2022 caused a scandal. The ticket sales system, dominated by Ticketmaster, had been overwhelmed with demand and ticket prices had soared to delirious heights.

The singer herself had criticized the chaos surrounding the sale of tickets for her concerts and regretted “not being able to do anything”. Some fans have even decided to sue the platform.
