The United States National Weather Service (NWS) issued a warning this Tuesday for all of South Florida for the high temperatures recorded.

For this reason, they advised to drink a lot of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and keep an eye on relatives and neighbors.

“Small children and pets should not be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances,” they warned.

They also recommended extreme precautions if you work or spend time outdoors. If so, they urged people to take rest breaks in the shade or in air-conditioned environments.

“Anyone in heat stress should be moved to a cool, shaded area. If you think someone is suffering from heat stroke, call 911,” they concluded.
