Hispanic woman accused of crashing car into relatives' house arrested

HOUSTON – A 38-year-old Hispanic woman was arrested this Tuesday morning in the Spring area, after being accused of crashing a vehicle into a home of her relatives.

The incident, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, occurred around 1 am when the woman crashed the car into the house and then got out to kick the front door of the house.

When police officers arrived at the scene, the woman had already left the scene, but shortly after she was found in a nearby residence, where she barricaded herself.

The relatives of the woman who were inside the house impacted by the vehicle escaped unharmed from the incident, according to the authorities.

The entrenchment of the woman lasted for about 2 hours until she surrendered to the authorities.

According to preliminary inquiries, the woman had already been charged with illegal trespassing. Everything indicates that this she has mental problems.

The young man is on probation.
