IO-Interactive will dust off the Hitman 3 formula with the new “Freelancer” campaign. Available in a few days, this different experience has a launch trailer.
Danish studio IO-Interactive delivered a real masterclass with Hitman 3 and the entire new trilogy. With an overflowing generosity, the last game will still surprise.

While we thought we had seen it all and experienced it all with Hitman 3, the developers are pulling a surprise out of their hat. The new “Freelancer” solo game mode which will finally be released on January 26, 2023. A brand new campaign with its own story, missions and rules that will shake up players’ habits.
Indeed, Freelancer will inject a dose of rogue-like to Hitman 3. You will still have to shoot down targets, which will not let themselves be hit so easily, while being careful with your equipment. The equipment (weapons, objects) can be permanently lost in case of abandonment in a level or death. Advance will also be fully reset on failure. Depending on the experience points stored, Code 47 will be able to buy new toys with the virtual currency “Mercers”.
