Strengthened by the record collections of Hitman 3, IO Interactive inaugurates 2023 by announcing Hitman World of Assassinationa name (and content) change for Hitman 3 that summarizes the efforts made by Danish developers to realize the creative vision of the Agent 47 action stealth series.
The guys from IOI explain that World of Assassination is the plastic representation of their vision focused on the constant evolution of Hitman.
Starting January 26, 2023, all Hitman 3 owners will receive a free upgrade to the World of Assassination version: the new edition will include the Complete pack of contents, missions and modes of Hitman 1, 2 and 3 currently available through Season Passes.
The reorganization of the contents of the Hitman trilogy, therefore, will involve all fans of Agent 47’s stealth odyssey: in this way, reports IOI, “We will drastically simplify the shopping experience for new players. Once launched, Hitman World of Assassination will be theonly option available to start playing Hitman“.
From 26 January, therefore, all the contents of Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass, Hitman 2 Standard Access Pass and Hitman 3 will converge in the ‘new’ Hitman World of Assassination to end the confusion on the editions to buy, on the systems to adopt to redeem the Legacy packs and on the procedures to complete to import the contents from the previous chapters of the trilogy.
