What if Hogwarts Legacy 2 was already in development? Avalanche Software is looking to recruit for a new console AAA.
Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy is the work that many fans ofHarry Potter were waiting. An open world game in which we create our own character, who will live a new story. The title developed by Avalanche Software is one of the notable releases of the beginning of the year. A real success on the critical level which should make Warner Bros want to continue to bring to life Harry Potter in the video game market. What if Avalanche Software was already working on Hogwarts Legacy 2 ? A job posting Warner Bros. Discovery on its official site intrigues.
Hogwarts Legacy 2 could already be in development
Per a job posting posted on the official Warner Bros. Discovery says Avalanche Software is looking for a software engineer for “an unannounced AAA on console.” Unfortunately, not much else to get your teeth into. The job offer remains fairly standard and simply requires knowledge in terms of developing gameplay mechanics. This is no longer available, but Game Rant managed to take a screenshot of it. Nothing indicates that this is indeed a job opening to work on Hogwarts Legacy 2. It could be a completely different title. But seeing Avalanche Software work so quickly on a sequel wouldn’t be very surprising. Hogwarts Legacy has already sold over 12 million copies. Above all, the studio had made it clear that no DLC was planned for the game through its director Alan Tew.

Avalanche Software propelled into a new dimension?
Prior to its takeover by Warner Bros. Entertainment, Avalanche Software was under the fold of Disney. The development studio had specialized in the production of adaptations of Disney licenses such as Toy Story, Cars or Chicken Little. The success ofHogwarts Legacy, both critically and commercially, seems to have propelled Avalanche Software into another dimension. To the point of being entrusted with the development of increasingly ambitious AAA? Maybe. It will surely be necessary to wait a good while before knowing if Hogwarts Legacy 2 is well in the pipes.
